Gold 1 oz – Austria Philharmonic
The gold Vienna Philharmonic was introduced in 1989 by the Austrian Mint. It is a 24-karat bullion coin with a purity of .9999 fine, displaying orchestral instruments on the obverse and the Great Organ of the Vienna Golden Hall, home of the Vienna Philharmonic, on the reverse. The coin was originally denominated in schillings, now in euros, and is the most popular coin among Europeans today. Also available are fractional Philharmonics in 1/2, 1/4, and 1/10th of an ounce sizes (minimum orders may apply for fractional coins).
