Gold 1 oz – American Buffalo
American Gold Buffalo Gold Bullion Coins were first minted in 2006 as the first 24-karat gold coins produced by the United States Mint. Following the design of the Buffalo, or Indian Head, nickel from the early 1900’s, the obverse of the .9999 fine gold coin features the profile of a Native American and the American Buffalo is depicted on the reverse. The coins weight, content and purity are guaranteed by the United States government.
