JERRY WILLIAMS
As a child growing up in Central Illinois, Jerry Williams, was an avid coin collector. As an adult and summer visitor in 1971 in Europe, he personally witnessed the effects of the first dollar devaluation since 1933. That event led to his studying the writings of Ludwig von Mises and the Austrian School of Economics and subsequently a life long occupation in the financial industry.
A Phoenix resident since 1961, Jerry has been specializing in precious metals and related investments since 1973. After 12 years in the securities industry, he started his own firm, American Precious Metals, in 1994 and has successfully operated it since then.
Jerry is widely known and respected in the metals business, with extensive knowledge of numismatic coins and has performed countless appraisals. He is authorized to submit rare coins for authentication and certification and has a spotless record for honesty and fairness.

JOHN STRAUBE
John Straube has been a valued member of the APM team since 1996 and has been in the precious metals industry for more than 20 years. John has also been a member of the American Numismatic Association since 2002 and has performed countless appraisals. John is well known among his clients for providing them education on the economic situation and precious metals, helping them to make informed decisions on investing in gold and silver.

COURTNEY WILLIAMS
Courtney Williams graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and is a licensed CPA in the state of Arizona. While attending college, she worked part time for American Precious Metals for four years. Upon graduation, she entered the workforce in the accounting field, where she has spent the last 10 years working, primarily as an auditor and a controller. Over the years, she has expanded her knowledge of business operations in a variety of industries. She has recently rejoined the American Precious Metals team and is excited to bring fresh ideas to the company, which is growing faster than ever.
DAVE PLATTETER
Dave Platteter brings a diverse professional background to American Precious Metals. After studying engineering in college Dave worked several years as a software developer and over fourteen years in manufacturing and distribution. He moved to Phoenix to pursue his passion for precious metals and coins, working over three years for one of the largest coin and bullion dealers in the west. Throughout his career Dave has built a reputation for integrity and providing exceptional service to his clients. Dave is a member of the American Numismatic Association and the Rochester Numismatic Association. He looks forward to contributing to the continued success of APM and its customers.
